Abdallo escribió: ¡Cómo me gusta esta película...! Brando está que se sale y Trevor Howard aparece soberbio, como el tirano Bligh. Me gusta mucho más que la clásica versión de Gable y Laugthton... Magnifica la evolución psicológica que experimenta el personaje de Fletcher Christian en manos de Brando, desde el petimetre insustancial del comienzo de la historia, al valeroso y hastiado líder del motín. Pero sin perder nunca la perspectiva de las cosas, y sabiendo que su vida --por completo diferente a la de la chusma que le ha acompañado en el delito-- ha quedado arruinada para siempre. Extraordinario, por lo demás, el Bligh de Howard: duro, áspero, cruel, pero lejos de los niveles histriónicos que le dio Laughton al mismo personaje en la versión anterior. |

He accidentally careens over a cliff in view of four cars whose occupants go down to help. Twin Peaks: Fire walks with me Me encantó, Twin Peaks es la investigación de la muerte de Laura Palmer (protagonista de la serie homónima que no he visto) y un flashback de los momentos previos a su muerte. A esto David Lynch le agrega una realidad paralela de pesadillas y presencias ominosas que explicarían el desenlace. Es en verdad una no explicación que sirve para darle a la historia, espesor y fatalismo. Lo mejor del director para mi gusto con Terciopelo azul y El hombre elefante. |

La última de Piratas del Caribe. De aventuras, estupenda. Y ellos, también. Edito: el mejor, aparte que se nota la presencia frente al resto, es Javier Bardem quien borda su interpretación, con y sin maquillaje. |
